Timothy Fosu-Mensah is widely regarded as one of the biggest prospects to emerge from the Manchester United academy in recent years.
With Jose Mourinho failing to sign a centre-back this summer, the decision to loan out the youngster again was met with surprise from many people.
Fosu-Mensah, who can play at full-back, central defence or defensive midfield, played 24 times for Crystal Palace last term and helped them to an 11th-placed finish.
The 20-year-old will spend the 2018-19 campaign at newly promoted Fulham and retained his place in their starting XI for Sunday's visit of Burnley.
In what was an eventful, high-scoring affair, football fans who watched Fosu-Mensah's display are saying the same thing about him.
FOSU-MENSAH'S PERFORMANCE V BURNLEY
The Man United loanee played the full 90 minutes in the 3-1 loss to Tottenham and did the same again, but this time Fulham recorded a vital win.

The Cottagers beat Burnley 4-2 to pick up their first points of the season, and it's safe to say that fans of all clubs were impressed by Fosu-Mensah.WHAT MAN UNITED ARE SAYING ABOUT FOSU-MENSAH
Firstly, we have Man Utd supporters, and they are salivating at seeing the young Dutchman being able to run freely and express himself going forward.A very offensive performance from Fosu-Mensah today v Burnley, it's clear to see Fulham's manager is working with timbo on his offensive side as a full-back and using his pace going forward, really exciting to see! #LoanWatch pic.twitter.com/LwsLQojE5i

So, so pity Mourinho is around at Old Trafford. Timothy Fosu-Mensah bossed Spurs at The Lane under LVG in 2016 already and is starting quality for United, but due a manager who lacks balls to play proper youth, he doesn't get a chance. pic.twitter.com/rZuVXfz0ds

Fosu-Mensah was pretty solid defensively, recorded an 82% passing accuracy rate, and with Fulham dominating possession, played more as a wing-back than right-back.Fosu-Mensah playing Premier League football at right back while we don't have one was always a bit of an odd move. But with Valencia and Dalot back soon it should be right move for everyone if he keeps starting games#MUFC

WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF FOOTBALL FANS?
During the win over Burnley, Fulham supporters were actually thanking United for loaning Fosu-Mensah out to them and were seriously surprised by how quick he is. Some are even already saying he is better than Ryan Fredericks, who swapped Craven Cottage for West Ham this summer after starring in their promotion campaign.

Really like Fosu-Mensah, think he’s gonna be immense. Schurrle and Mitro put in a real shift and Seri has a beaut of a touch. Looks like it’s starting to come together 😏

His performance was aided by the fact he was playing on the same side of the pitch as the brilliant Jean-Michael Seri and Andre Schurrle, who both scored.Fosu Mensah is SO much better than Fredericks oh my

FOSU-MENSAH'S LONG-TERM FUTURE
Since making his Man United debut in a 3-2 home win over Arsenal in February 2016, Fosu-Mensah has made 21 appearances for his parent club.

The defender, who's already represented the Netherlands at senior level, will be hoping for a strong year ahead and to help Fulham avoid relegation.
As we've seen with Andreas Pereira, who took a similar route, in the early weeks of this season, that could be key to him becoming a Man Utd first-team regular.
